Review on ๐Ÿšฒ Delta Cycle Foot Fenders: Bicycle Toe Clips for Comfortable and Convenient Mountain Biking by Pius Aponte

Thin clips, strong, uncomfortable foot position

I bought them for my daily commute to work. I can't say they improved my ride much. I think these clips are too deep. By this I mean that if I place my foot so that my toe touches the front of these clamps, I will find that my foot is slightly further on the pedal than I would naturally place it. Usually, you want the balls of your feet to be over the axle of the pedal. I wear size 10.5 men's shoes and I imagine it would be a bigger problem if my foot was a little smaller. It's a bit better if I wear my winter boots instead of running shoes, but only because I can't get that far forward. I wouldn't take these clips if you want to add performance. They bend a little as they move up. If you want power without clip-on pedals and specialty shoes, I would recommend straps that can be adjusted to fit snugly around your foot. pedals They keep my foot on the pedal well. I'm probably getting a little more power, maybe +10%, but as mentioned above, if you're not concentrating on your shot, you can easily lose that extra power due to the clinch flex. They are definitely durable. I know this because they hang low enough to scratch them every time my foot isn't in a tight spot. Although it's been a few months, they're still in good condition and don't look like they'll break anytime soon. In general they are fine. I find more utility in wet and snowy winters. Not great for adding power to your punch, but keeps your foot well on the pedal without feeling pinched.
