I spent hours trying to find a leak in my newly designed plumbing system. I've tested and retested but always seen a drop of about 1/2 lb per hour. I couldn't find any leaks and finally decided to buy a new pressure gauge from my local plumbing store. and that was it. no leaks. I know it's not a threaded connection because I used a Teflon additive and tested it with a bubble solution. The leak was somewhere in the meter. I don't know if this was an individual issue in my gauge or a general design flaw, but I wouldn't buy it again.
