Disappointed with leaks

As you can see in the photo there is a leak in the air cartridge area. I had this issue with another similar Winters product and thought I'd give it another try, but they clearly have quality control issues with their products. How should I check the lines if the pressure gauge itself is leaking? The rest seems like a quality product, but it's frustrating.

Pros
  • Black steel case
Cons
  • You could have chosen a newer model

Negative reviews are correct

Mine read 10 PSI out of the box; not properly reset. I should never have left the factory like this. Tried it anyway as the leak test has more to do with pressure drop than exact number. Leaks on pipe threads. Air valve leaking. You can't check your plumbing for leaks with a leak detector, so it's literally useless.

Pros
  • CRN registered
Cons
  • Exorbitant price

This manometer lost air by itself! So disappointing.

I spent hours trying to find a leak in my newly designed plumbing system. I've tested and retested but always seen a drop of about 1/2 lb per hour. I couldn't find any leaks and finally decided to buy a new pressure gauge from my local plumbing store. and that was it. no leaks. I know it's not a threaded connection because I used a Teflon additive and tested it with a bubble solution. The leak was somewhere in the meter. I don't know if this was an individual issue in my gauge or a general…

Pros
  • Drain hole and galvanized body on gas detector
Cons
  • Available in black only
