Review on Gigabit USB 10/100/1000TX IPV4/IPV6 USB 2.0 Print Server with Enhanced SEO by Sam Bauer

Excellent print server

I tried 2 other print servers, one from Linksys and one from D-Link and they were very unreliable. The D-Link block had to be restarted periodically, and it ended up just dying one day. The Linksys division required constant reboots, and the software they developed was a mess. Basically what was expected was that you physically install a printer on each of your computers (meaning you have to connect a USB printer to each computer and install the drivers) and then inject its own software that acts as a virtual printer to redirect your printing jobs. to the printer. This was very problematic and led to numerous headaches. Not to mention that they don't support Windows 7. And they only support a certain range of printer models. After years of agonizing over these products, I finally decided to take it seriously and spend the extra money on the SEH PS1103 print server. I cannot put into words how this product outperforms other print servers. SEH is a company that really understands network printing technology and it shows in its amazingly simple yet powerful web interface. If you're an experienced network engineer, you can set this up in 5 minutes without installing any additional software. And if you're a beginner, the included SEH print monitor software will help you get the job done quickly and easily. And it's very reliable. It just works. I don't even think about it anymore. What a relief to finally enjoy reliable, easy network printing. Compared to the offerings from D-Link and Linksys, these are just clunky toys. SEH is significantly more expensive than other print servers on the market, but if I knew what a headache cheaper models could give me, I'd happily pay more. for the SEH product. Cannot recommend this product enough. Good luck with your search.
