They are easily destroyed by reptiles and amphibians
These bulbs are good for night heating but the problem is that they give off so much light that they light up the whole room and they are very fragile, I have 5 Bought these and only 2 went out, the other 3 are broken. All 3 fell but it was only a 1 foot fall and only the lamp hit the ground, no part of the lamp came in contact with anything other than air and 2 of them broke in the same spot proving there is a weak point , and the third just broke into a million pieces.
