Take your time with the installation and everything works!
The product was installed on our Honda Pilot 2103 on regular rails. A fraction of the cost of Honda crossbars. You should line them up, don't over-tighten until everything is in place, that's actually common sense and recommended in the instructions. Yes, they came with guidance. Took it on a 3,000 mile trip with about 200 pounds of roof racks attached. No mistake. At our destination we used the poles to carry two paddle boards, no problem either. Just put a towel under the boards and tie them up. They just worked.
