Review on 📐 Kaweco Sketch Up Pencil, Brass, 5.6 mm: Premium Drafting Tool for Artists and Designers by Nicole Mcleod

When I ordered this I didn't realize it would come in its own tin case or that the pencil would look better live than any of the staged photos I've seen. Raw brass forms a beautiful patina and, as a metal, also conducts heat very well; which almost gives it an attitude towards life with increasing use. The included 6B lead writes and draws exceptionally well. But this is actually the first time I've used a leash this soft, so the adage "your mileage may vary" applies here. For anyone looking to buy Sketch Up, I also recommend getting a Kaweco clip; That way it won't trip and roll if, like me, you tend to find pockets to store your stationery. Be aware that since Sketch Up's body is made of brass, the metal will react with the oils on your skin, giving your skin a metallic odor.
