Review on 🔌 Black TiVo AP0100 WiFi 5 USB Adapter for Enhanced Connectivity by Mayrando Clark

Our TiVo MoCA connection is not very fast when connected to our new Tivo Bolt Vox so I decided to give the Try TiVo WiFi 5 USB Adapter. The instructions say "just connect and change the network settings". Not everything is so simple, especially if you have an old Tivo Mini. After searching the internet, including the TiVo and YouTube forums, I came to a dead end. I had to call TiVo customer service. Turns out you need the latest TiVo Mini VOX for Wi-Fi to work. Now I've lost almost $200 in taxes on the latest TiVo Mini VOX to make it work with a $60 WiFi adapter! LATER I was able to get a WiFi adapter with my new Tivo Mini Vox to find an internet connection, but I couldn't get it to find my Tivo Bolt Vox even though both were on the same network. I ended up not using a WiFi adapter and switched to a MoCA connection over coax. In combination with the new TiVo Mini, video streaming from our TiVo Bolt Vox works much better. I will keep the wireless adapter in case I can use it in the future.
