This lens performs surprisingly well. I use it with a D610 and you must know how to use a non-CPU manual lens but as they say it takes damn good pictures. However, I was initially frustrated when the lens arrived based on the description of Revain. Therefore . This is NOT a feature of full frame/FX cameras like my D610 as the name and description would suggest. The packaging even clearly states that it is only an APS/C (DX) sensor. I actually wanted to return it immediately, but decided to take a few shots after putting the D610 in DX mode. I was pleasantly surprised, especially considering the very modest price. So far I really can't fault the lens. The build quality certainly falls short of a Nikon Nikkor lens. but not the cost! For $$ I would say it is excellent value for money. Since I won't be using this lens often, I'll keep it to myself. I just switch modes when I use it.
