First, there's no denying the usefulness and beauty of such a large screen real estate. The ability to display two documents/screens simultaneously, entire web pages with minimal scrolling, or multiple inputs with PIP/PBP makes this monitor versatile for both work and play. My main use is business applications in a work from home environment. I connect two laptops with two HDMI inputs in PC mode and expand the displays. It also includes DisplayPort and a headphone input for added versatility. This gives me the equivalent of three screens to see my work. What really sets this monitor apart is crisp text even with 12pt fonts, minimal glare, accurate colors and eye protection mode for a more comfortable viewing experience (reduces blue light reflection). While I can't directly comment on this monitor, it also supports FreeSync (FS), but my graphics card doesn't support it. I've seen FS in action elsewhere and that's an added bonus if you're a player with a compatible card. Thanks to the two HDMI inputs, you can also use the monitor for watching TV, the picture quality is very good. You need to change the setting to AV mode, and you can also adjust the aspect ratio and other settings as you like. There are several aspects of the monitor that aren't ideal for a user like me (work from home), although I suspect they won't affect most people. In the interests of transparency, I will include them in my review. As mentioned, I use both logins at the same time during the day to view work content. If I need to switch to full screen view of one of the inputs, I have to select the small button on the back of the monitor to change inputs. This requires it to iterate over the input each time until it reaches the one it needs. There are no software shortcuts or hotkeys to simplify this process, and it's not uncommon for me to do this a dozen or more times a day. Not only is it a little slow (5-7 seconds), but I'm concerned about the durability of the jog button with such constant use. Also, there's no height or pan/tilt adjustment, only tilt. Since I like to get up from my desk every now and then during the working day, the viewing angle is not optimal in this scenario. The monitor is very light so it's easy to physically rotate it, but then the stand moves things around your desk. Again, this isn't a breach of contract terms, just a minor annoyance. Overall, I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a widescreen monitor. I had an incentive to review this product, but I hope you can see that I reviewed it as objectively as possible.
