Very disappointed - PURE SHIT

Update 06/24/2022 - Ignore ALL below. For the past two days, and especially now, this monitor has been turning on and off by itself. This usually happened when I was watching a video. Now I can say that it turned itself off this morning. When watching, reading, or working, it turns on and off almost as quickly as you know it happened. This is the same problem that you can read about in other reviews. THIS MONITOR IS TOTAL SHIT! I will buy another monitor as soon as possible. Ignore everything below this line (original review) ------------- ----------------------- Let me first say A: My computer has its own quirks and this monitor is likely to respond to those quirks. BUT, this is the 5th or 6th monitor I've bought for this computer and I usually always have 3 monitors installed. So it's just another monitor for my system. The problem arises that sometimes my computer has a small bug after which it recovers by itself without restarting. As you may know, Windows launches File Explorer, which you use to browse files and folders. However, File Explorer also works as a background task that helps to display the background, start menu, taskbar, etc. My system has had this quirk for many, many years. For all other monitors, then and now, when this little bug occurs, the system recovers and everything is back to normal in a few seconds. All open windows remain where they were. NOT TRUE WITH THIS MONITOR! When a small error occurs, this monitor (and only THIS monitor) thinks the computer is gone and shuts down. Windows then moves ALL open windows from this monitor to another (according to Windows still running) monitor. This monitor never really turns off because the glitch stops before it barely has time to even flicker. Then I have to reposition and rearrange all these windows. It also appears when I tell Windows to put the monitors to sleep when the system is left alone XX times. I've been doing this for years. Windows has the ability to put monitors into "sleep mode" (or whatever you call it) so that they go into a power saving mode. Move the mouse or press a key on the keyboard and the monitors will wake up as before. This is the ONLY monitor that just turns off when prompted to "sleep" (or so the system thinks). And imagine Windows considers the monitor offline and moves all open windows on that monitor to another monitor to keep them. He switches off. So I can't put my monitors in sleep mode because of THIS monitor. And as a side con, when "Explorer" crashes, THIS monitor thinks it's time to shut down and messes up my open windows as I explained above. Small quirk, you should have fewer problems with this monitor. BUT the color isn't the best (all my other monitors were quickly adjusted to look about the same on all) and the viewing angle is limited. I'm used to a wider viewing angle, but if you're looking straight at it, that's fine. I would never recommend this monitor. But if you want a cheap wide monitor, then this one will do. And that's the best I can say about him.
