Review on 🚀 Maxxis Rekon 3C/EXO/TR Tire - 27.5in: Unleash Optimal Performance! by Andrew Britton

I actually like this tire, it's a decent mix of fast riding but not sketchy XC racing tire so I was planning on using it as a rear tire for the foreseeable future. . Unfortunately things are probably changing now as after just a year I noticed that the outer rubber was developing significant cracks around the entire circumference of the tyre. It's not time to change tires yet since they're only used on soft Indiana trails and kept in the garage, but this one looks like it's ready to chip off the tread blocks. It was a relatively new tire design. when I ordered it so I don't think I can blame the seller for taking a 5 year supply off the shelf. Maybe Maxxis just didn't include the rubber compound? Have minions and icons that are older and in better shape.
