I bought two mini thermometers to check the temperature in a rented apartment on the second floor. After the changes my plumber made to the boiler and radiator valves, I need to know if there is a temperature difference between my thermostat setting and their room. I put them on my thermostat (set at 73) and one registered 75.4 and the other 76.6. They don't match my thermostat or each other by 1.2 degrees. If you don't need precision, I think they're good enough. See fig. The application is intuitive and does not cause any problems.
