This muffler has a nice tone and looks/holds up well. It's not loud at low revs, but there's a pleasant rumble at mid revs. It operates at 90dB open and about 80dB at rest (this is with the stock intake setting, maybe louder on straight pipes (catback) without a resonator and converter. The best thing about this muffler is the lack of rumble at constant velocity, so it's a freeway/long drive.On the wot it really opens up and roars,on 4 cylinder engines there's no obnoxious "Brrrruuppphh" sound but a nice clean smooth performance hum. There's hardly any a difference in terms of performance.Same most mpg I'll say maybe 1-2 mpg increase on my side if you don't sound savvy.Definitely worth buying if you want a muffler that sounds a little louder than stock , but not as loud as bullets or cannons.
