Review on DenTek Slim Brush Interdental Cleaners - Brushes Between Teeth, for Extra Tight Spaces, Mouthwash Blast Flavor - 32 Count (packaging may vary) by Bill Ramani

Weak trumpet cleaners

I originally bought these small interdental cleaners on the recommendation of my vet to clean my cat's teeth. I know this is all bullshit, but looking for a way to reduce my cat teeth mortgage bill, I was willing to dig into the crazy cat lady and give them a try. They failed miserably at brushing cat teeth, which is probably only true of one or two cat ladies or gentlemen in the entire Revain universe. They were too flimsy and immediately bent when I tried using them as cat toothpaste. Brushing between tightly clenched teeth as an alternative or in addition to flossing. Luckily, I have very narrow spaces between my teeth, so I figured I had 192 reasons to put a little more effort into my dental hygiene. When used for their intended purpose of cleaning human teeth, they do an intermittent job. Even when used for their intended purpose (trying to fit them into tight spaces between teeth) they flex VERY easily. I can't complete a cleanup without doing 2-3 of these (which makes 192 a lot easier, so maybe that's a positive thing). a sharp metal end that can stab your gums if you're not careful. If you clamp a cleaning agent between your teeth, either the entire item will bend or the metal edge will prick violently. It's definitely uncomfortable. For the teeth that this actually happens between (75% success at best) I have an odd feeling of residue or fibers being left in my teeth which then leads to flossing. Perhaps I would see the reason for this if I had braces or other orthodontic appliances, but in my case I don't need the extra step and use dental floss instead.

Pros
  • Tapered interdental brush cleans narrow teeth, ideal for braces
Cons
  • Big and chunky
