I bought this pot for travel but started using it at home. We have a glass top stove that looks nice but is difficult to clean. I use this pot instead of my stovetop when I'm just cooking for one or two people. So far I've made french fries, spaghetti, sliced ham and a grilled cheese sandwich. I seem to be able to set it on high power to keep things going, then turn the power down to low to continue cooking. I've only had this thing a week, but so far I like it. It's good that the kit came with a small spatula.
