This fan is mostly better than I expected and goes well with offerings from well known brands. The engine is quiet and remains fairly unobtrusive even at a maximum of 1600 rpm. Airflow is good, but the advertised 71CFM seems a bit optimistic. The frame is impressively strong and the wiring is beautifully wrapped in black nylon braid. The power and ARGB cables have splitters for connecting additional fans (but be careful when connecting other manufacturers, as I will explain later). ARGB lighting is bold and bright, with LEDs in both the center sleeve and outer ring for added impact. It's worth noting that by default the fan will display a rainbow animation when the ARGB cable is not connected. This comes in handy for effortless lighting setup, but also means you can't just start the fan with the lights off if you need/want to. JST-SM Headers: Zezzio inexplicably chose not to follow the same pinout convention as most other companies (5v and ground swapped), leading to unnecessary connection problems and some risk of damage. For example, my ASUS motherboard comes with a nice long cable to convert the motherboard from ARGB (3 round pins with a gap) to JST-SM (3 flat pins with no gap). This cable will work with many brands of light bars and fans, but not this one. I had to use the much shorter and thinner adapter that Zezzio includes in the box, and unless I redesign the connectors, other lighting fixtures won't connect directly to this fan's built-in splitter. Overall, this fan performs well and looks good. , but its non-standard ARGB wiring means extreme caution should be exercised when connecting to other brands of lights/fans despite sharing the same connector.
