Review on PetSafe Entry Aluminum Extension Tunnel by Sirryan Bloodworth

I installed this in a standard 2x4 exterior wall and there are a few issues with this unit. already folded in the middle with bulges outwards. Strange, but not the end of the world. The second problem is that when you create a shape based on the holes you cut, it will be larger than the hole you actually need to cut based on the template that came with the dog door itself. This means you now have to oversize the hole just to fit the wall OR you can do what I did and bend it again after taking new measurements. Then the problem is that it fits on a 2x6 wall. so it is too wide and needs to be trimmed. I have the tools, but that's not an option for most. In the end I'd probably just suggest getting a piece of sheet metal from Home Depot and just making it the right size from scratch.
