I bought one of these for my buddy's kids. They loved it! For about 5 minutes. At first, the light was very bright and stayed on constantly as long you were turning the crank. Then the light would hardly work. If you cranked it really hard, the light would come on for just a second.The problem is, the wires going from the dynamo to the light are very thin and don't make a great connection. As you use the torch, the wires loosen up and the connection gets worse and worse. I solved the problem by soldering the wires to the light. Now it works perfectly again.It is a neat kit and the boys did have fun putting it together. If the connection to the light were a little better, I'd have no problem giving this 4-5 star rating.
