Surprisingly impressed!

Unlike most LED lights I've found online, I was blown away by how well built these units are. I bought them for my old Chrysler Lebaron which is in like new condition and I only drive on nice sunny days. Last time I rode it we had to drive home late at night and we live out of town. The old original halogen headlights barely illuminated the road in front of the car and we narrowly missed two deer jumping across the road in front of us. They just didn't get noticed because they were crossing the street faster than I saw them. This incident scared me and I started looking for ways to replace LEDs. I installed the new bulbs the same way as the old halogen bulbs and noticed a big difference in the brightness of the lights at 4pm. Then I waited until 10pm when it was completely dark, drove around and was shocked at how bright it was. They emitted a cleaner and brighter light at low power than the old ones on high beam. Then I pulled onto a country road and turned on the high beams and they completely illuminated the 1.2 mile stop sign at the end of the road. I wouldn't hesitate to add these devices to any legacy automotive application. The voltage drop is much lower than the old blocks and fits perfectly into the mounting points. The only problem with these units is that they have a long pin pigtail wire on the back that plugs into the OE wiring harness. If you don't have a lot of space to mount your headlight bracket this can be a problem, but you can adjust the length of the lead to suit your application. If you are looking for DOT approved lighting safety for night driving and want to do it at a fraction of the cost, this is definitely for you! It's as easy as replacing old halogen bulbs. Maximum 20 minutes! I hope this review helps you.
