Buy a few sizes to test fit
I have never bought shoes from this brand for my son. He is 7 years old and has worn out his size 2.5 UnderArmor shoes. I ordered size 3 and 3.5 in these black DC sneakers and size 3 fits but a bit tight for my taste. 3.5 was perfect! It has a bit of room to grow, a good width so it doesn't constrict his feet, and elastic laces with Velcro closures to keep the shoe from riding up and down.
