Review on Accurate Repeated Measurement Corners by Kevin Shimmens

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Three reasons why I put two stars here!

Failed to load media. Here are three reasons I'm giving this two stars: 1. This cheap piece of plastic is probably three times more expensive than it should be. Please note that you can use a standard carpenter's pencil for this measurement as each carpenter's pencil is 0.5 inch wide. Is that so. Simply bring the tape measure to the corner and subtract the specified tape measure width. Carpenters and joiners have been doing this for over 50 years. 3. It's easy to use only in the most ideal situations. In order to be able to reach this corner, lay the so-called tool flat and push it towards the corner. This pressure requires the tape to be firmly attached at the other end. If not, it will slip off. I could also say that the knurled screw keeps getting in my way, tightening and thus preventing the so-called tool from slipping on my band. I could say I see no base at all or built in mini bubble levels. They're just cool looking, but I would never use them for that kind of measurement. Well, I'm a negative and grumpy viewer at times. But I'm just not going to overdo this tool, which isn't really needed, overpriced, and often very difficult or impossible to use.
