Unlike some other products, this organizer has actual hinges for the compartment covers. For other organizers I've had it's just been thin plastic that bends and eventually wears out and breaks. But even better, the hinges are spring loaded, so they open up all the way when you are putting the pills in. That makes it easier to insert the pills. And even better, the two halves are removable so that you only have to take one side if you want (best it's the A.M. side so that the days run in the "right" order from left to right).The only negative is the unit is slightly larger than similar products, but that doesn't affect my storage location.
