Review on Airtex E2471 Electric Fuel Pump: Ensuring Optimal Fuel Delivery for Enhanced Performance by Brandon Plowden

Revainrating 5 out of 5

1986 Ford Taurus 3.0L Airtex Fuel Pump

Removing the fuel tank from a Ford Taurus is quite easy. Begin by removing any remaining fuel and the filler neck by disconnecting it from the vehicle body and fuel tank. This kit is the most flexible to install with tank parts and gaskets for different conditions. Make sure the electrical connections are tight and installed correctly so you don't have to do this again. Use the supplied clamps to seal the pump connections. Everything went well and the sending device is still working fine. This car has 275,000 miles on the original pump.
