I bought this fuel pump to replace an aging pump on a 2001 Mazda 626 because of the price and performance. Installation was easy. I cleaned the tank as recommended. Worked well for the first 5 months. Then it became intermittent. Eventually, after sitting for several weeks, he stopped walking. Upon removal it was found that the supplied electrical connector was loose and there were metal filings in the pump reservoir. Replaced OEM Denso pump.

Works for me: Electric fuel pumps

Installed over a year ago, no problems despite being a 3rd party. Fuel pump. Of course, I try not to abuse it by under-pressing the throttle, but it still pumps. It pretty much matched what came out, other than getting to the fuel pumps in the tank - Pita, the installation didn't cause any problems when it came to the pump itself. Came with everything you need IIRC. Would buy this brand again for another car based on past durability.

1986 Ford Taurus 3.0L Airtex Fuel Pump

Removing the fuel tank from a Ford Taurus is quite easy. Begin by removing any remaining fuel and the filler neck by disconnecting it from the vehicle body and fuel tank. This kit is the most flexible to install with tank parts and gaskets for different conditions.
