I bought this fuel pump to replace an aging pump on a 2001 Mazda 626 because of the price and performance. Installation was easy. I cleaned the tank as recommended. Worked well for the first 5 months. Then it became intermittent. Eventually, after sitting for several weeks, he stopped walking. Upon removal it was found that the supplied electrical connector was loose and there were metal filings in the pump reservoir. Replaced OEM Denso pump.
