I have never left a product review on Amazon, but this was required. This pump did not fit on any bucket lid, we tried several types. The pump is useless unless it is securely attached to the lid. So it became a two man job, one holding the pump and the other pumping the product, which didn't work either. The pump has a series of check valves that operate on the suction and discharge sides of the pump stroke. The check valves would not close and a ball would push 6 inches into the hose, then get stuck in the hose and not sitting on the valve seat. When the ball hits the saddle, stroke volume is greatly reduced.
