I make and work on all my cars. This is by far the easiest and nicest trailer hitch I've ever installed for a mile. A Subaru was smart enough to pre-wire the connector with all the wires needed to connect the wiring harness. Unplug the connector that requires some effort from the Subaru wiring harness, plug it in and some zip ties and I also bought a fitting kit and you have an OEM factory fit. great product
