Review on πŸ”’ Strong Hand Tools 11-Inch Locking C-Clamp Pliers with Swivel Tip, 3-1/4" Throat Depth, 4" Opening, Adjustment Screw, Single Hand Release, Heat Treated Steel - PR115S by Ron Houston

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Sturdy construction, questionable alignment

These clamps arrived in a large box that was loosely taped (clear tape over standard Amazon packing tape that was cut/torn). The clamps were thrown in this box at the very bottom and big bubbles at the top - no cushioning between each vise handle or between the bottom of the box. Why is this important now? Look at the first picture - the jaws and handles are not exactly aligned. I'm not sure if this was a barrel center issue or a manufacturer quality control issue. Regardless, the vise clamps look very well constructed so I'll just tweak them until they line up again. There's nothing more annoying than trying to clamp live metal parts tightly together and then the jaws 2 parts open so yeah that's kind of a problem oh I like the red tongue unlike the Irwin design I have use at work, giving you far less leverage to loosen your jaw.
