I like the size and shape of this spatula, as well as the curved end, that is, slightly sharpened. It can and should be a great tool. Two bad things about this tool: 1: The handle is plastic and also not heat resistant. It melted when I left it in the pan while cooking. He survived but is now deformed and annoying. 2: When it was new the edges of the metal were almost sharp and needed a bit of sanding to be perfect. This is easy to do although I contacted Sabatier as the warranty requires the item to be returned which costs more than it was worth. I don't know if they are good and will send a new one. Well I got a nice email from Sabatier in France and they made it clear that they have NOTHING to do with the Chinese ones which are fake. a logo that basically looks the same as a French company. That's why I just downgraded her rating to ONE STAR. But AMAZON should be given credit for knowingly marketing a counterfeit product. Too bad I can't give AMAZON a star.
