Love that it's heavy and feels solid in hand. (Slightly too big for a cup holder in the car). It doesn't fall to the wind (or the wind!). Has an elastic loop at the top for carrying and hanging on a hook. Unique style. Thoughtful yet simple features. The rubber cover on the back for the charging port and audio jack is stiff and should hold up well. (There will be a lot out there, so that's good) The power button on top is a simple press once for Bluetooth. The ring of light around the speaker will flash to indicate it's ready. A second press indicates use of an audio cable. The light stops flashing. The sound quality is excellent and better than any portable speaker I've had in the past. Sounds great for pop/dance music, TV shows and audio books. Piano ballads sound clear and distinct. (Think Ruth B, Lost Boys) I haven't checked the speakerphone but the brochure says it will ring. It has excellent performance and good sound. This is a gift for a teenager and I think it will be used well and hold up well to outdoor use.
