If you use this as a reviewer recommended, this attachment will cut through tile like butter. I did as he suggested and used a solid board at the bottom and made a hole in the board slightly larger than I needed at the top. I clamped the ceramic tiles under the plate with the hole where I wanted and then connected them together. I mount this over the sink and run the water in a slow trickle since you don't really need a ton of water. I set the drill to high speed and then fired a few shots to get the drill going. It took no effort and I was halfway there. I continued with short bursts of power until I felt I was done and then took everything apart and checked and the bit actually went through the solid plate and the cut waste was in the bit. I had no problem cleaning the cut out portion of the racquet with a small swipe. Water plays a key role here as it keeps the racquet cool and you also have the glide factor. The beat is still a brand new look. I suppose it takes more abuse to cut porcelain stoneware with a mallet, but at an unbeatable price!
