Review on Uniclife Aquarium Adjustable Single Accessories by Birhanie Robinson

Was hoping this would work on my men. If you buy it for bettas you will have to manipulate it A LOT to make the airflow slow enough that the fish don't blow all over the tank. I was able to get one of them to work in a 3 gallon tank but I had to disable it in my 5 gallon tank. Before anyone says I didn't set it up correctly, I use the same sponge filter, check valve and hose for both tanks. I put an extra sponge in both sponge filters to slow down the bubbles even more. It was good enough for 3 gallons on the lowest setting but didn't work for 5 gallons. For 5 gallons I also installed an air stone and air release valve in hopes that this would slow the air flow. Unfortunately, my Betta only sat in the furthest corner from the filter as he was exhausted from trying to swim in the strong current. As soon as I turned off the filter, it became much more active and even built a nest of bubbles. I'm tired of looking for ways to make this filter work, so I'll be cleaning the tank more often while I look for an alternative air pump. After all, the low price isn't worth the extra work and frills. make it work for roosters.
