I like it but I want to see how many charges it takes before it dies. There must be hundreds; Battery charging is a solvable problem, as is arcing. But I assume that this little gadget will not last long. The plastic case is a little flimsy and I can already tell that the USB charging port isn't the most durable. And while it looks waterproof, it doesn't have an IP rating, which tells you everything you need to know. If I can get a few hundred lamps from him for $12 I'll probably be happy. The plasma arc is hot enough to easily ignite a single sheet of paper. You don't have the ability (like butane) to ignite a flame and use it on a combustible item for a few seconds to dry things out - if the item being burned doesn't ignite there's not much it can do (and I would don't try it on anything wet - to get that much arcing they turned the voltage up pretty high, and even at low current it can be annoying). Charge it as soon as you receive it. It doesn't fill up.
