Heats water and whistles! Exactly what he should do!
I've wanted a kettle for a long time. This one was perfect for us. I can boil water for six people who drink instant coffee or tea. Of course, the body of the kettle gets very hot. The small wooden handle gets a little warm or at least feels warm as the water heats up/boils from the rising steam. I love when I'm in the living room or bedroom on the other side of the house I can hear a whistle as my water boils nicely. And very easy to clean, I have to clean it with a non-scratching sponge because we have very hard water and we don't want calcium to build up in the kettle.
