Bought two and both have the same problem. The sensors work fine for days or even weeks, but eventually they fail and the only way to reset them is to turn off the power to the device. Each sensor is used for different applications with different Raspberry Pi and both have the same failure mode. In one application I'm using a Python script to get sensor data every few minutes and another application is using a Node Red node. Restarting the Raspberry Pi does not help, both devices must be temporarily disconnected from the power supply. Both sensors are connected via I2C. I replaced them with BME280 from DIYMALL (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0118XCKTG) and didn't experience any crashes in this version.
