Review on 🔌 SNANSHI Adapter Converter Drives - All-in-One Solution for Enhanced Connectivity by Kris Martin

I'm sure this is a good product for the average user. The problem I had was that I couldn't run the linux smartctl command on it. I returned it and bought another adapter of the same model as mine that allows the smartctl command to get all the SMART information from the disk. Apart from that it works fine. The only other complaint I have is that the activity light is very dim and hidden in a dark piece of plastic. It would be better if the light was more visible. It consumes an external 12V power supply and works with a 3.5 inch floppy disk drive. I haven't tried it with 5.25" devices like CD drives but should work with them.
