Simplicity. It has a 7-round adapter and a magnetic mount. So both make it a good idea. The downside is that none of them work well. Issues 1. The 7-pin bracket doesn't seem to match the standard wiring. This means that while it will meet DOT requirements for brake and turn signals, the parking lights and emergency parking lights will not work. No license plate lights as required by some states (obviously not DOT).2. The round connector is handy as most RVs have one, but there is no hook or clip to hold it in place. It wobbles, and on a bumpy road don't expect it to stay put. (The long-term plan was to use duct tape, but "long-term" never materialized. 3. The magnetic mounts aren't strong enough. We went to the first flight to see how it worked. 2-3 block ride and back We found one of the lights had fallen off The magnet couldn't support the weight of the light Our solution We replaced it with a $19.99 unit here on Amazon We bought 4 heavy duty niobium magnets for $8 (total) And we bought around 7 to square 4 adapters for $7 (also on Amazon) Used JB weld to attach magnets to lights Magnets are rated 6lb x 2 to hold 1lb light So far so good. and the cymbals work as expected Total $35.
