Works best in trailer accessories

There were two options. Spend or use a lot of money on special cable connectors for two different cars. The magnets hold very well and have not yet scratched the paint on my wife's car. (Thank goodness or I wouldn't be here to write this). My Jeep had its paint fade many years ago so there was no problem there either. Simply stick it on, run the cable through the car through the window under the hood and connect it to the motorhome. Ideal. Very bright and works very well

Pros
  • Pretty packaging
Cons
  • I don't really like anything, everything is fine

Glue or tie it up.

The lighting kit was of high quality and worked perfectly. It was my fault for relying entirely on a magnet to attach to my trailer. The headlights fell off the trailer fender. The wiring held but when I pulled the magnet out it was gone and the light was a mess but surprisingly the LEDs still worked. I suggest duct tape or headlight ties (don't just rely on a magnet) to prevent this from happening to you.

  • Quality construction

Good trailer accessory option

I didn't want the added expense and hassle of hooking up a light kit to my Jeep Wrangler so I can tow it behind an RV so I decided to give these lights a try. . They work great but I'm having a few issues with them. First, the connector doesn't stay in the RV receiver, so I have to tie it with an elastic cord to keep it in place. Second, the magnets left marks on the paint when we first used the lights, so after that I started putting a piece of paper between the magnet and the jeep and that…

At a speed of 30 km/h the magnet didn't hold.

Magnet fell on rear light at 50 km/h - destroyed rear light. I have a 2005 Ford F-250 and the light is not properly connected to the truck. When braking, the yellow parking light comes on. I put a red reflective sticker on it to make the yellow lights turn red. it worked. The first time I removed the trailer the right tail light fell off and shattered the light into pieces. I can't return it because I bought it in June. I do not recommend buying a trailer lighting kit this way.

Pros
  • Slim design
Cons
  • Operating speed

There are not enough magnets to hold the assembly in the trailer during use.

The concept is good and overall the product would work if the roads were very slick, but not in Texas! I attached the headlights and wired the entire length of the trailer with plastic zip ties to make it as strong as possible. In the first hundred kilometers of our journey, the first light came on and the tire destroyed the headlight housing. The vibration caused the second headlight to almost fall off due to the poor design of the headlight bracket with magnet. In my opinion the headlights…

WILL NOT WORK FOR US LIGHTS. WRONG GO 7 PIN TO PICKS

Hi I really wanted these headlights as I thought they would be a great light for my extendable trailer that I tow behind my GMC pickup which has a 7 pin -Connector used for headlights. . ok look at the connector gosh it's wrong and won't connect. Cut the end off and try plugging it back into the phono jack and the damn LEDs behave differently than they should. A little disappointed in these things. Do these RVs just trail behind the headlights? because they don't look like lighting from a…

Wiring incorrectly connected to trailer Accessories

Incorrect wiring configuration. Traffic lights were switched to yellow. Running lights were connected to red. We drove 300 miles to pick up a trailer frame for a build we were doing. I hooked up our new headlights so we could tow the trailer home and found we had a problem. My fault for not testing it when the package arrived. We spent a few hours trying to figure out a way around this. But the problem ended up being the headlights. Excellent construction in terms of materials. But in the end…

I like simplicity. as long as it works!

Simplicity. It has a 7-round adapter and a magnetic mount. So both make it a good idea. The downside is that none of them work well. Issues 1. The 7-pin bracket doesn't seem to match the standard wiring. This means that while it will meet DOT requirements for brake and turn signals, the parking lights and emergency parking lights will not work. No license plate lights as required by some states (obviously not DOT).2. The round connector is handy as most RVs have one, but there is no hook or…
