Review on πŸ”¬ EISCO High-Precision Quantitative Spectroscope: Guaranteeing Accurate Results by Sean Maples

Revainrating 5 out of 5

UPDATE The numbers on the scale were legible for my students

UPDATE***** I originally wrote in my review that the numbers on the scale are almost unreadable . And you. for me (59 years old, corrective lenses and eye problems). My students, on the other hand, liked these spectroscopes and had no trouble reading the scale. The lab was a success and they had very accurate readings. Many students have preferred them to the Project STAR spectroscopes that we have. It was about 50/50. I told my students about the review I posted and we all agreed I better update it! practically unreadable. The spectroscopes we have used so far (from the STAR project) have excellent, very clear scaling. I was hoping to save some tuition but I'll be returning them and ordering Project STAR which are also available from Revain.

Pros
  • Accuracy +/- 5.0nm for accurate measuring
Cons
  • High price
