Review on 🏠 White Google Nest Protect S3000BWES - Battery-Operated Smoke and Carbon Monoxide Detector by Patrick Burns

This product doesn't give me the phone alerts advertised as an option. So it basically works the same as a $10 smoke/carbon monoxide alarm. I tried calling Nest tech support and they replaced my detector 2 times and still no phone notifications (SMS or emails) when an alarm goes off despite having the Nest app open on my phone. I tried this on both iPhone and Android phone and still no notification. Tech support guys are useless. Every time I call her I spend over an hour on the phone. Do not buy this item!. waste of money. I've also tried syncing it to my Smartthings Hub but it won't sync either. Why spend $120 on a smoke/carbon monoxide alarm when a cheaper unit will do the same. I would like a Nest representative to call me and dispute the claims I have made here.
