Used twice. Both times it read the temperature of the meat at around 90 degrees when it was actually done. Followed the recalibration instructions, the results stayed the same. We bought it based on the reviews but were very disappointed and sent it back. UPDATE customer service is excellent. They noticed my 1 star rating and contacted me immediately. They refunded the entire cost and sent a replacement for free. The replacement works much better and provides accurate temperature readings. The first thermometer must have been defective. Very happy with the new thermometer!
