Molds are very soft and feel more like latex than silicone. They stand up on their own without sagging or falling down. I poured the melted paraffin into the mold and when it got a bit hard I put it in the freezer and let it freeze for an hour so I could take the candle out of the mold without breaking my fingers. The mold comes off easily, but the candle becomes dull instead of shiny. Out of the box I drilled a hole on this one to insert a wick between two folded fingers. The position of the pointed fingers and back of the hand makes it almost impossible to pull the wick properly there as it is not a straight line.
