I use it for hiking (about 1-2 hours on the road) and it works very well. It hasn't worn at all, can hold an amazing amount of stuff and is easy to assemble/install on the car. I think I paid about $26 for it and I think it's great quality for the price. I believe the product description says four roof bars are required for fitting but I use these on my VW Jetta which has two horizontal bars (one front and one rear) and have had no problems with them. I just attach straps for side carriers to the front and rear racks in the car and the bag doesn't move at all. I also combine it with the roof mat linked below to prevent slipping.
