Poor internal components make connection unreliable

Disappointed with this product. Everything I've done with Anker has been top notch, but this product has issues. Maybe I was just lucky with a defect. In any case, I had to manually search for drivers to install them as they were not recognized and then recognized by my computer, only sporadically. It turned out that if I held/moved the device in a certain place/direction, it was recognized, but if I hit it, you would lose connection. You also need to make sure you connect the ethernet first and then the USB or it won't connect properly either. Once everything is plugged in (and unplugged), everything seems fine. There are three multicolored indicators that show the status. Red is power, green is network connection I think and blue is network traffic. I always have a red light when plugged into USB, but press it again and you lose the green and blue.

Pros
  • Comfortable
Cons
  • Nothing here
