Good inexpensive choice
I knitted the project on a pair of no name 6mm straight needles and had to switch to circular needles to hold many stitches. Most circles I saw were 5.75mm - not good. This 6mm. They're a little rough, but not so much that I have trouble with yarn. I think they will flatten out with continued use.
