Just follow reviewers Mark Harrison and Jessica's instructions and you'll be fine. Your patience will pay off and you'll get dizzy when you use this adapter and save so much $$$! Additional notes to highlight my own experience (and I'm feeling a bit silly) but make sure you attach this adapter to your fill tank. with a wrench, don't just screw it in by hand or you'll have damn leaks. Also, and others have mentioned this, FREEZE your empty containers before filling them! I only got 250 grams (should be around 400g) in a room temperature canister but over 400 grams in frozen ones (2 hours in the freezer I did). They actually turned out to be fuller than the new ones I get from the dealers, I weighed them on a kitchen scale but only ran out a bit as it makes me more nervous. Finally, buy a fill tank with a siphon tube, also known as an eductor tube or dip tube, that draws CO2 from the bottom of the tank. My local shop had dozens of 20lb tanks to choose from but only one with a siphon tube so I guess they're not very common. Without a siphon tube, you'll have to (I've heard) turn the fill tank upside down. No thank you. Very satisfied although the learning curve is over.
