Review on πŸ”₯ Intrinsically Safe MSHA Approved Combustible Gas Leak Detector by General Tools CGD900 by Jeff Morris

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Get an expensive model (CGD900), not a cheap one!

I bought a PNG1 gas analyzer for the first time and it barely worked. I turned the stove on low to see if it beeped and it didn't even beep when faced with the gas socket. After setting the oven to full power and pushing the device RIGHT where the gas comes out, it FINALLY squeaked! Well, it's not very helpful if you faint from the smoke. I would never use PNG1. It's so useless that it's better to use a napkin to see the airflow. However, the CGD900 works well and is quite sensitive. He was able to detect very small amounts of natural gas. I think the reviews here apply to all products. So a lot of the good ones are for more expensive devices, I think.

Pros
  • Household sensors and alarms
Cons
  • I have doubts
