More expensive but worth it for safety

I have just used this to install a gas log, the gauge is sensitive and easy to use. Much more confident than the cheap $25 models people are always complaining about.

Excellent product in gas detectors and alarms

Smallest gas leaks detected. It features an ultra-sensitive mode to detect the smallest leaks. I found leaks that were almost invisible to the bladder test. This is a great purchase and does a great job of cross-checking other gas leak test methods.

Get an expensive model (CGD900), not a cheap one!

I bought a PNG1 gas analyzer for the first time and it barely worked. I turned the stove on low to see if it beeped and it didn't even beep when faced with the gas socket. After setting the oven to full power and pushing the device RIGHT where the gas comes out, it FINALLY squeaked! Well, it's not very helpful if you faint from the smoke. I would never use PNG1.
