Review on 🔧 Perma-Coil 5/8-18 SAE Fine Thread Repair Kit: Restoring Threads with Precision by Ricky Bedell

This was a very good fit for what I needed. My table saw had a hole for the guard support but was never threaded from the factory. Use a 41/64" drill bit to ensure the hole is correct, then use a tap to tap new threads. I found I needed and appreciated the installation tool as the insert wants to pop out and would be difficult to reach. Insertion started without tools, will definitely look at other sizes from this manufacturer in the future.
